This is not a stage to simply manage — it is a stage to harness. At Koala, our toddler program is designed around the specific developmental needs of this age group. Mathematics
Toddlers begin discovering numbers, shapes, colors, and patterns through hands-on play. Sorting toys, stacking blocks, matching objects — every activity quietly builds the foundations of logical thinking and early mathematical reasoning.
Language & Communication
This is the age of language explosion. Teachers surround toddlers with rich, precise vocabulary in both French and English — through songs, books, conversations, and daily routines. Listening comes first. Speaking follows naturally, in both languages.
Physical Development
Running, climbing, balancing, grasping — toddlers are built to move. Our program channels that energy purposefully, developing gross and fine motor skills through guided activities both indoors and outside every single day.
Exploring the World
Toddlers are natural scientists — touching, tasting, testing everything. We give them safe, structured opportunities to explore cause and effect, observe nature, and begin making sense of the world around them in both languages.
Arts & Creative Expression
Painting, drawing, music, movement, and imaginative play. Toddlers express what they cannot yet say in words. Art gives them a powerful, joyful voice — and builds the sensory and motor foundations they will need for writing and reading later on.
Social & Emotional Growth
